The Guardianists

Aka. people from Wild Arms with some relation to the Guardians

Cecilia Cecilia
From game: Wild Arms

Name: Cecilia Lynne Adlehyde
Age: 16 (turns 17)
Gender: Female
Place of Birth: Adlehyde
Weapons: Staffs, rods
Hair Color: Blonde
Eye Color: Blue/Hazel
Occupation: Princess; Guardian Shaman

Cecilia is the only princess of Adlehyde and therefore the heir to the throne. Being a woman of the Adlehyde royal family's blood, she can use the "Tear Drop" passed down through her family and speak to the Guardians. She is referred to as both the "Innocent One," and the "Shaman." During the start of the game, she attends Curan Abbey and is going to go home for her 17th birthday. However, due to a certain incident and the revival of the threat of the Metal Demons, she cuts her hair in an act of rebellion and joins Jack and Rudy to save the world (again...)

Cecilia is also a Crest Sorceress. In Filgaia, sorcerers use magic by combining two elements to a "crest" to create magical spells. (Think Marron from Bakuretsu Hunters.) For example, a water and a water element create the spell "Freeze," while a water and an air element create the spell "Heal." There are also two kinds of magic - white magic, and black magic. As their names suggests, they have defensive properties or offensive properties respectically. During the game, you will discover a higher kind of Crest sorcerery that allows Cecilia to use much better spells, although they have far higher MP costs. Speaking of which, everytime Cecilia uses a spell, it takes away a certain amount of her MP depending on the spell. For instance, the spell "Heal" takes 3 MP, while the spell "Hi-Flame" takes 12.

Tim Tim
From game: Wild Arms 2

Name: Tim Rhymeless
Age: 12
Gender: Male
Place of Birth: Baskar Village
Weapons: Staffs
Hair Color: Blonde
Eye Color: Bluish green
Occupation: Zoa Priest; Pillar

Tim is a young native from Baskar Village. His father was a Dream Chaser who disappeared before his birth; his mother, Sabrina, died while trying to travel to Meria Boule. Tim is friends with Scott and Tony, the boy Ashley rescued from the Withered Ruins. It's Tony who introduces Ashley to Tim. When Odessa learns that Tim can hear the Guardians, they try to kidnap him, but Tim manages to defeat the person sent to kidnap him (Judecca) and joins your group. Tim is the "Pillar," the one who can hear Guardians, and because of this the people of Baskar wanted to sacrifice him to the Guardians. Tim doesn't want to die, but when the Elder says they'll have to sacrifice the other "Pillar" in the village, Tim says that no good will come of it, because the next time danger comes around, someone else will be sacrificed and so on. He becomes a "Zoa Priest," which means he can learn spells from the Mediums by killing a certain number of monsters with a certain Medium equipped, and travels with Pooka, a sub-spirit who guided him through his Trial to become a Pillar.

Tim's Zoa Magic works thus: If Tim has a certain Medium equipped, he can learn certain spells from it. However, a spell requires him to kill a certain number of monsters in order to learn it. Any monster Tim kills reduces the required amount of kills for the Medium he's equipped with. For example, if he has Fengalon equipped and kills 5 monsters, while the requirement for Sonic Claw is 9, then it would only take 4 more monsters to learn the Sonic Claw ability. If Tim already knows the weakest spell of that Guardian, the kills go to the next-strongest spell. All Guardians have two abilities Tim can learn except for the three Guardian Lords, Raftina, Zephyr, and Justine, and, of course, Lucied, whom you never get a Medium for. Also, you can only summon the Guardians while Tim (or, more specifically, Pooka) is in your party, because Pooka combines with the Medium to give the Guardian a physical form that can damage enemies or heal allies. If Tim and Pooka are not fighting in your party, you cannot summon the Guardians. (Kanon and Mariabelle [Marivel] can't summon Guardians anyway.)

There is some confusion about Tim being able to summon the Guardians. In Wild ARMs 1, they say that only female members of the Adlehyde Royal Family can use the "Tear Drop." However, this does not mean that other people cannot hear or speak to the Guardians. Since Wild ARMs 2 is either a parallel universe - or takes place so long after Wild ARMs 1 that the deeds in the first game were forgotten and the land changed geometrically - Tim can speak to the Guardians, although he is not from the Adlehyde family and is certainly not a girl (even if he looks like it.) It's possible that because there are no living descendants of the Adlehyde family, that the Guardians had to find someone else to channel their powers through and chose people from the village of Baskar, the only truly Guardian-worshipping village in the start of Wild ARMs 1.

Gallows Gallows
From game: Wild Arms 3

Name: Gallows Caradine

Age: 24

Place of Birth: Baskar Colony

Weapons: Modified Coyote M17F

Hair Color: Brown/ White

Eye Color: Blue

Occupation: Priest in Training; Pursuer of Freedom

If one could describe Gallows with one word it would be "Freedom". He sought freedom from his seemingly oppressive and mundane life at the colony. He wanted to discover, for himself, what life had in store for him. After all, waiting around only makes one restless. Having heard a rumor that there was yet another Arc Scepter on a passing train, Gallows immediately set out to claim it and get one step closer to being rich and free. However, as fate would have it, things did not turn out as planned and Gallows found himself in the middle of a stale mate between three other Drifters. Ultimately the encounter would change his life, and mentality, forever. It became apparent that Gallows' fate was dangling in between his hand in some unseen force's hand. Passionate almost to a fault, Gallows can be described as both pigheaded and compassionate. He tends to be a bit absent minded at times and his penchants for womanizing tends to get him in trouble more often than not; however, when he gets serious he sees things through to the end, no matter what the price. He is also very dedicated to his little brother, Shane, and tries to keep him updated on his adventures. He is also the groups "cheerleader" and tries to look at the bright side of things. Although he is slow to anger, he's a power house when provoked; making him a very worthy adversary.

As a mage it is Gallows' job to make sure that his friends stay alive and his enemies perish; having said that, it is notable to state that Gallows' ability to extend his magic over his comrades and enemies makes him a force to be reckoned with. Also, because he is a Baskarian, his ability to communicate with the Guardians and convey their sentiments makes him both invaluable to his team and his predestined purpose. His weapon of choice is an automatic, double barreled, shotgun; because of this, he is more effective if he's in close range to his enemy.

Shane Shane
From game: Wild Arms 3

Name: Shane Caradine

Age: 17

Place of Birth: Baskar Colony

Weapons: N/A

Hair Color: Blonde

Eye Color: Blue/Green

Occupation: Dream Seer; Pillar

Shane is Gallows' younger brother and was gifted with an ability called "Dream Sight". At first, his role seems meager when compare to his elder brothers. But, as the story unfolds, it becomes clear that Shane's role is a lot deeper and more oppressing. After seeing the "Blue Menace" in his dreams; Shane started to consider his role as a Pillar, hence opening his mind to doubt, worry, and ultimately the dream demon Beatrice. Under Beatrice's twisted influence, Shane journeyed to the Sacrificial Alter to fulfill his duty as Pillar. However, Gallows intervened just as his brother was about to sacrifice himself and saved Shane from what he believed to be a pointless death. However, obtaining Shane from the diabolical clutches of Beatrice proved to be easier said than done; as Shane summoned several Hydras to stall Gallows and his team mates.

After several grueling battles Shane emerges from his forced "trance" and reveals a bit more about Beatrice's intentions. And from there, the rest of the story unfolds.

Not much is known about Shane's fighting capabilities as he is not a playable character. However, it is apparent that he is quite intelligent and is very spiritual. His ability of "Dream Sight", however, is an integral part of both the story and his role as Gallows' brother. Like most Baskarians, he has the ability to speak to and receive messages from the Guardians.

His role in Gallows' life is apparent. He is constantly looking out for his brother; although there is only so much he can do. Also, Shane seems to revere his brother without fail, although he does get frustrated at his brother's seemingly careless ways. However, Gallows' and Shane's relationship deepens and is shown with much more poignancy near the end of the game. In summary; Shane is Gallows' younger, older, brother.
